The 2010 SPH/IH Alumni Reception was held in Denver, Colorado on May 25, 2010. Industrial Hygiene program director and professor Gurumurthy Ramachandran gave the welcoming remarks. He was followed by SPH alumni representing each decade of the IH program’s past 40 years. The alumni were invited to speak about their memories of their time in the industrial hygiene program and how they are staying connected to the program today.
Alumni speakers included: Harry Beaulieu (from the 1970’s – currently at Industrial Hygiene Resources, Boise, Idaho), Renae Goldman (from the 1980’s – currently at 3M Corp Safety and Industrial Hygiene, St. Paul, Minn.), Gary Weiby (from the 1990’s – currently at Xcel Energy, Minneapolis, Minn.), Tricia Carmody (from the 2000’s –currently at 3M, St. Paul, Minn.)
