Join us for our back-to-school kick-off on Thursday, Sept 9!
This is a great opportunity to meet and connect with Program Directors, other MCOHS students and staff, and learn about research and outreach opportunities.
Please register by Wed, Aug 25 if you plan to attend.
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:
- Get engaged in MCOHS research and outreach. MCOHS Program Directors will share their research projects and highlight opportunities for students to partner and get involved in the work.
- Does your face mask properly cover your nose and mouth to prevent the spread of COVID-19 via airborne particles and droplets? Learn about proper mask fit in a demonstration by Neil Carlson, Industrial Hygienist with the U of M Department of Environmental Health and Safety. You will have the opportunity to view a qualitative and quantitative fit test, and learn the procedure and tips to improve mask/respirator fit.
- Box lunches for take away will be provided. (Bring your own beverage.)
The event will be held outdoors to ensure safe COVID practices. In case of rain, it will be re-scheduled.
