sundaramMaria Sundaram, a PhD student in the Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology program, was invited by the New England Journal of Medicine to be a featured expert in its influenza vaccine online forum, August 16-25, 2017.  During the forum, Sundaram and other experts will discuss vaccines and answer questions posted to the event’s webpage.  Maria was chosen because of her extensive experience as an infectious disease epidemiologist researching influenza vaccine effectiveness.  Her graduate research has a focus on the potential effect of repeated annual influenza vaccination.  Read the full article from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health.
