El’gin Avila, a PhD trainee in the Industrial Hygiene program, was recently published through Environmental Health News.

His article was titled “Beyond coffee and condos: Black and brown families displaced and erased” and addressed the displacement of long-time residents and their culture, and how their exclusion from community decision-making is creating a public health crisis.
