Dr. James L. Craig MD, MPH, former President, Family and Preventive Medicine Services, Inc. and Consultant, Occupational and Preventive Medicine, retired from the Midwest Center for Occupational Health and Safety Advisory Board in 2020.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Craig for his many contributions to the Midwest Center for Occupational Health and Safety (MCOHS). He was a founding member of the center at its inception.
Throughout MCOHS’ 40+ year history, he has given generously of his time, talent and resources to students and faculty. He mentored our Master of Public Health students, who were residents in occupational and environmental health medicine, and supported their entry into professional positions. Dr. Craig also secured funding for the Bond Professorship in Occupational Health Policy and for student scholarships in medicine and global health. The center’s faculty, students and fellow Advisory Board members have benefitted from his leadership and counsel as chair and member of our MCOHS Advisory Board.
Dr. Craig has truly been an outstanding contributor to MCOHS and a joy to work with over the years. We are grateful for his many contributions and wish him all the best in his retirement.
