Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology (OEE) PhD student Andrew Floeder, recently received the Best in Show Student Poster at AIHce EXP 2023.  Andrew’s work and resulting poster, “Investigating antineoplastic drug contamination in veterinary canine patients by LC-SRM-MS/MS” has received many accolades and garnered a lot of interest at the conference.

AIHce EXP is the annual conference of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA).  The conference focuses on the important trends, needs, research, technologies, training, and connections that make occupational health and safety (OHS) professionals more efficient in their pursuit of protecting worker health. It is attended by occupational health and safety scientists, industrial hygienists, EHS specialists, safety professionals, risk management professionals, consultants, and others responsible for safety, health, and the environment at their organizations. This year’s conference was held May 22-24, 2023 in Phoenix, Arizona.
